INTRODUCTION : The TCV Alumni Association was formed, and is, by this memorandum, established with the solemn objective of serving in whatever small measures that it can ? the Tibetan community in areas of its life where needs are seen more obviously to be felt. We who had been educated in what must be emphasized as the most privileged Tibetan school have a scared duty and a moral obligation to prove ourselves worthy of it all. Painstaking efforts of many and dedicated Tibetans ? whether as teachers, administrators or other kinds of staff ? whose guiding spirits has been the well being of all Tibetans and the Tibetan cause, had been made in our education. Indeed, Lifetimes had been sacrificed to our upbringing during the most formative stage of our lives. It would be a tragedy, therefore, if we are to forget all this and pretend that we are what we are solely because of our own efforts. The formation of the TCV Alumni Association kathmandu, Pokhara , USA is designed to be a step towards repaying our debt of gratitude to an institution that has been instrumental in preparing us to meet the challenges of life. And this we can do by strengthening it's hands in its continuing efforts towards the education of the Tibetan Children, the preservation of the Tibetan culture and tradition, the education of the general Tibetan masses (including, in particular about principles of democracy to which we are now committed), and enhancing the awareness of and attention to the Tibetan cause by a wide range of international audience. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES : Rendering help to deserving destitute Tibetans Promotion and propagation of Tibetan culture and tradition To strengthen the bond between TCV School and its alumni and amongst its alumni, by various programs and courses of action.
