WASHINGTON, November 15 - Tibet?s exiled leader, the Dalai Lama, made a first public appearance with recently exiled Uyghur dissident Rebiya Kadeer, greeting her on stage in front of some 16,000 people at the U.S capital?s MCI Center.

Dharamshala: Rule of law is indispensable to the progress of democracy in any community, said Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, adding that the democratization of the exile Tibetan polity, along with the transformation of the Tibetan struggle into a non-violent struggle, is His Holiness the Dalai Lama's most outstanding accomplishment.

During his three-day stay, Hu is scheduled to sign a bilateral integral strategic association agreement.

Dharamshala: The Supreme Justice Commission (SJC), the highest judicial organ of the Central Tibetan Administration, is organising a judicial training from 15 to 20 November followed by a judicial conference on 21 and 22 November.
The workshop will focus on Code of Judiciary, Civil Procedure Code and Law of evidence.

LONDON, 12 November 2005: The London-based Office of Tibet, the official agency of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for Northern Europe and the Baltic States, is pleased to announce that from November 18 to 23 His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be visiting Edinburgh and Belfast to give keynote addresses and a major public talk at the invitation of parliamentary bodies and others. This visit will follow His Holiness? 19-day trip to the United States, where besides giving a series of public talks and participating in a conference with scientists, the Tibetan leader was also welcomed to the White House by President Bush and received by the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the State Department.
